Clinical Consult - Author Guidelines

.

Why? How? When? What if? What? Have you ever asked these questions about your clinical practice, or have they come up during discussions with colleagues? Have you wondered where to find the answers? Do you have a new way of doing things that you would like to share with your peers? The Clinical Consult Department is for networking with your colleagues. The purpose of the Clinical Consult Department is to provide answers to questions regarding clinical practice and a means to share new and innovative ways of caring for nephrology patients.

The Clinical Consult Department provides readers with two options for input:

    • Questions: If you have a clinical practice question that you’ve wondered about, but hesitated to ask, or didn’t know who to ask, this is the place! Your name will not be published unless you want it to be. Please provide necessary background information and the specific information requested.
    • Answers: Authors willing to answer questions submitted, or those who wish to write about innovative clinical practice ideas are welcome! This is a great way for novice writers to begin.

Manuscripts should be approximately 500-700 words or 4-6 double-spaced, typewritten pages. Authors should use 2-5 supporting references using APA format. The department editor is available and willing to provide any assistance needed to all authors and readers.
